It's Monday, Yea! A new week, new opportunities, new challenges, new events in life are awaiting. That's probably an unusual response to Monday, huh? Usually, it's 'ugh, Mon--day'. I remember back when I was in high school, some of my friends would come to school and complain that it was Monday. Then, they would say "I can't wait until Friday!" I never understood that --- to me, it was like wishing your life away. Fast forward to the future as an adult, and I observed some of the same conversations with my co-workers. There were times when I caught myself saying those same things. Why? What's wrong with Monday? I'm sure that if I took the time to research, I would find out that some significant events in history have occured on a Monday. Next year, when I turn 40, my birthday will be on a Mon. . . no wait, it's on a Sunday.
Psalm 118:24 tells us - This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
So, Happy Monday everyone!
Many thanks to everyone who has left a comment for me lately. The comments are great, encouraging, inspiring, and awesome!
I really appreciate it! :~)
This has been a productive digi-week for me. I managed to publish two kits, work on a few layouts, not to mention the new ideas that I can't wait to get started on. And yes, my Charter, Creative/Design Team member AKA DH, has a bunch of creative ideas of his own flowin'. He knows a little something about Paint Shop Pro, and wants to learn how to use Photoshop. I'm no pro by any means, but I'm willing to show him what I know.
It's Saturday AM, I'm waiting for my DH to wake up so that we can go for our early morning walk. [LOL -- it's already after 9am.] Oh well, that gives me more time to blog surf!
Thanks again for the comments and notes.
Have a great weekend ~~
Hey fellow digi scrappers! Here's this week freebie --
Last weekend when I attended my SIL's baby shower, I noticed that she was wearing this very pretty purple top. So, this week's set of papers are 'Purple Inspired'. Enjoy! [If you dowload the set, please leave a note. Happy Scrappin' !]
**sorry, this download link has expired.**
Day 11! Only 10 more days to go. Rhonna Farrer and the other 21'ers have completed the challenge. I started about a week or so late, and I'm enjoying the challenge thoroughly. [To learn more about the 21 day challenge go to Rhonna's blog at www.rhonnafarrer.typepad.com.]

Today's quote is another great quote. I can think of times in my life when I was anxious and excited for tomorrow (future) and missed appreciating what was going on in the present. Especially during the time when we were starting our business. We often talked about what was going to happen, where we would be in a year, 5 years, 10 years. But, we (Marc & I) realized that it was more important to enjoy the journey instead of worrying about Profit & Loss, Projections, and the myriad of other things that business owners have to be concerned with.
Now we tell each other - 'Enjoy Your Life Today'. Can you think of instances where you are focused on tomorrow? 'If I just get that promotion or raise at the end of the year'. . . 'when we go on vacation, I'll finally be able to rest'. . .' I can't wait until I retire'. . . 'I'll be so glad when I graduate'. .
Enjoy your life today.
