Season's Greetings

Season's Greetings, Happy Holidays!  I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas.  Marc and I did.  There are a few funny stories to share, I'll share those with you later.  I'm taking a few days off from the computer.  (I hope I can handle it - LOL) I'll check in again before the year ends.

A few random facts

I managed to scrap another layout.  This LO is for dare #16 by the digidares.

The challenge is to scrap a LO of yourself, along with some random information about you. 

Journaling reads as follows:

• My favorite color is chartreuse.  I like pink, too.
• Though I'm tall, I did not play basketball in high school.  I ran track -- 400m, 200m and all of the sprint relays.  {Grandpa used to tell me that I inherited my speed from my Grandmother.  He said that when they were young, Grandma was very fast.  He could never catch her because she would always take off running!  LOL}
• My favorite treats are chocolate chip cookies and snickers!
• I was a girl scout volunteer for 8 years.  I don't have any children.   {I volunteered because I wanted to give back to the community.  As I was growing up, being a girl scout was a wonderful experience for me.}
• I like to watch sports -- NFL, college basketball.  I also love to watch just about anything and everything on HGTV!  {Men are often surprised that I know about sports.  What??  A lady can't be adept at sports?  Oh contraire.  We also once owned a Ford F250 Super Duty crew cab truck.  Just think of the gawking stares I received when I drove it.  LOL}

Answer to Prayer

And we have a new car!  Well, it's new to us.  After 6 months without a vehicle, our prayers were answered and we were blessed with a car that is reliable, in good condition, with reasonable payments, and most of all  -- ours. 

Psalm 34:19 -- Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.  Amen.
