Quote

  • It is possible to escape a multitude of trouble by living an insignificant life.

    John Henry Jewett

  • Great occasions do not make heroes or cowards; they simply unveil them to the eyes of men. Silently and imperceptibly, as we wake or sleep, we grow strong or we grow weak, and at last some crisis shows us what we have become.

    B. F. Scott

The greater danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high, but that it is too low and we hit it.

A Few Quotes

This week I'm going to share a few quotes I came across - enjoy.

Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move the hearts of men.

Psalm 150:6

Versefortheweek_march18_07_jpgb

Last week, I sent an email to a friend sharing some good news. She replied back -- Praise God!

Absolutely.

Right at that time this verse came to mind -

Let everthing that has breath, praise the LORD.

The NKJV study notes says the following: The very breath that God gives us should be used to praise Him. As long as we live we should praise our Creator. (Psalm 146:1,2) By His breath God created all things (Psalm 33:6), and by our breath we should adore Him. The Book of Psalms begins with God's blessing on the righteous (Psalm 1:1) and concludes with all of creation blessing its loving Creator.

For everthing that He created, everything that He has done, during good times and bad - Let everything Praise the LORD!
